Barbara's 411 challenge - Sketch 140
I've been wanting to do something with this Sale a Bration Good Neighbors set. (I just love using the clear mount stamps!).
This card is for a friend who is moving.
I decided the certainly celery DSP looked rather like trees. You probably can't see but I put some chunky glitter flowers on the branches that stand out. Two houses are on dimensionals - along with the branches. I think cards always look better in person.
Happy Stamping.
Barbara
Priscilla's 411 challenge #140 card
This card looked so pretty when I made it that I decided to enter it in the 411 challenge. For some reason the Certainly Celery looks faded in the picture and the lovely Cameo Coral and Ruby Red card stock seems a different color in the picture. And of course the dimensionals are not obvious but enough whining about the picture - believe me the card is darn cute in person. I tried to follow the sketch and use some buttons but decided the three tulips were my three objects and with the bow that was enough.

Stamping In Punta Gorda With Priscilla and the Fish's
Here is my newest convert to stamping- my sister-in-law whose name happens to be Fish. While we were visiting in Punta Gorda on our way to Naples, I got all my stamps out and I just happen to have brought an old retired Stampin' UP set with fishes. So of course we are making cards with fishes. After claiming for many years that stamping was just not her thing she seems to be a natural and she had lots of talent and she had lots of fun!
This is the thank you card I just sent to tell them how much we loved our visit with them in Punta Gorda. The idea of using the ornament punch to make the fish is not mine but I don't know where I saw the idea to give credit where it is due. Using the butterflies for the tail though is my idea - at least I have not seen it anywhere else. There are so many talented stampers out there that it is hard to keep up with all the great ideas. I just love this card and sure hope that Mary and Jim like it too.

Priscilla's Stamping 411 sketch challenge # 138
This weeks Stamping 411 sketch is also a fun sketch that just calls out for another of my favorite stamp sets Razzle Dazzle and of course I had to use the In Colors.
Check out the challenge and how the operators interpreted the sketch over at Stamping 411 at:

Priscilla's 411 sketch for challenge # 137
I was thrilled when I saw this sketch - at last an opportunity to use my Vanilla Hodgepodge hardware that I have been saving for just the right occasion. My first attempt for this challenge was to do something horizontal but none of my stamps seemed to work. So of course I pulled out one of my most favorite sets Asian Artistry and Voila! The sketch turned into a thank you card for my friend jeanne who had us for dinner the other night at her lovely Florida condo. Our condo is just accrosss the pool from Jeanne in this beautiful complex. Hope you like my sketch - it was sure fun to make.

Stamping in Florida
Florida is fabulous. The condo we rented has a third bedroom - which was formerly used as an office. It makes a perfect stamping room. We took over the closet to set up our stamping supplies. Can you believe we brought all this stuff (and are still missing a few things). Of course that means we will soon need to do another order!
So - our first effort is to create some Valentines. We are having fun with the Love Bugs set at the moment. Who knows what today will bring.
Happy Valentines creations to you all.
