Priscilla's Stamping 411 sketch #144

Finally Spring is here and tulips are my favorite flower so naturally my card for this sketch has these cute little "bird wing" tulips.  The tulips resemble the colorful Parrot tulips and are raised with dimensionals to look perky. I don't know who originated the idea for "bird wing" tulips as I would love to give them credit for the idea.  They are fun to make and I love them! The colors for this card are Apricot Appeal, Cameo Coral, and Certainly Celery.  The ink is Ruby Red.  Fun sketch!

Barbara's 411 challenge

I had done the reinker lilies last week.  When the 411 challenge came up - I thought it would work well for this.  Crushed Curry and Old Olive are favorite colors of mine.  Perk it up with a little Whisper White - and - hope you like it.

Barbara - Easter is coming

Having fun with the water color reinking technique.  I thought these lilies looked like Easter.  This card could be made with any sentiment on the inside so perfect for spring.  White emboss the Fifth Avenue Floral lily.  Then pool water in the petals and touch reinker colors to them.  When dry - cut out and mount.  Claire showed us how to do the folded paper background.  We took whisper white, folded it and ran it through the crimper.  Love the effect it produces.  Thanks Claire!
