Priscilla's 411 Challenge 131

This is a preview of some new items that will be available next month.  The new scallop trim border punch, Pretty in pink satin ribbon and the Vintage Vogue stamp set.The new clear stamp sets make it so easy to place the stamped image on the card stock.   I think everyone will love them.

Barbara's 411 Challenge

Here is an entry for this week's challenge.  I'm done with Christmas and ready to move on.  I used the Big Shot to emboss a double layer of Old Olive and Crushed Curry with the Elegant Bouquet folder.  Then clear embossed over Handsome Hunter writing.  I sponged over butterfly cutouts with Apricot Appeal and Crushed Curry.  Flowers are from For All You Do sponged with Apricot Appeal.  Centers are Crystal Effects and White Shimmer Paint.  I love the new butterflies - Beautiful Wings.  The whole card puts us in the mood for the next season.  Happy New Year to all of you.

Busy week making new cards

I needed some cards this week and had fun making these cards. Also, I made and sent out all our Christmas cards. Busy week but I also took some time to play with some new stamp sets. Let me know if you would like more information to make any of the cards shown.

This first card I made for my niece's graduation from graduate school this month.  Congratulations to Debbie for a job well done.

The idea for this card came from a cute card we received.  I pulled the wire "hangers" out of that card and used them to make this one for a friend. Must remember the wire "hanger" idea for next year.

Now the idea for this card was a 411 color challenge.   Challenge colors were Certainly celery, Barely bannana, Really rust and Chocolate chip.

This is a clean and simple card using my new Very Vintage roller with Elegant Eggplan ink.  I like the way it turned out.

Now this last card uses the new "Vintage Vogue" stamp set, the Very Vintage roller stamp, and the new edge punch.

Bedford Thursday Stamper's Holiday luncheon and stamping party

Here we all are pointing to the Ho Ho Ho decoration on the fireplace that was decorated by my two grandson's Ben and Zach.

Here are Grandson's Ben and Zach with their decorated "H" of HO HO HO

Look at the fabulous box that Barbara decorated with the new Stampin'Up! holiday stencils.  Barbara included in the box a new Stampin'Up! apron for me.  Now we both have one and will look very official in our Stampin'Up! aprons.

After lunch we made a post it note holder shown below.

Isn't this just too cute?

This weeks 411 Challenge card sketch 128

Last week Barbara was picked as a 411 challenge winner.  So now what to do for my very first challenge submission?  I decided to finally use my Stampin'Up! stuff that I have been hoarding -  Cottage Wall designer series paper, rhinestone brads, and my unused 3 flower punch.  Then one of my favorite stamp sets "Flower Fancy" seemed to really work with the Cottage Wall paper.   Well, I put them together and this is the card I came up with.  To make the small punched flower stand out, I just cut apart the lighter colored flower to surround the darker flower.  Thank you for looking.

411 Challenge Card

Happy Birthday to Priscilla's husband Harold!  This card was created using the 411 Saturday sketch of the week.  We love following what our friends do with the same layout each week.  Check it out.  This card uses Old Olive and Bermuda Bay, some glitter and crystal effects.  Love adding the extra touches.  This is our first submission and varies a bit from the sketch.  Find it at http://stamping411.blogspot.com/
