Priscilla's 411 card for sketch # 148 but too late to post!
well I am not sure about this card. My goal was to use Chocolate Chip Satin ribbon and Crumb Cake (formerly known as Kraft) card stock. With these color choices I went with a vintage look with lots of sponging. This is the new stamp set from the summer mini catalog Watercolor Trio - which I love. The colors are Old Olive, Crushed Curry, and Ruby Red and of course Chocolate Chip. I was thinking of using this as a swap for an event I am going to next month. It would be great to hear what you think about this idea.
Yikes, I just looked at the 411 blog and I am too late to post but here is my idea anyway.

Barbara's 411 Challenge SSC148
I finally got back to doing a 411 challenge. The design was simple this week.
The butterfly is embossed with white. Then I used the polished stone technique to create the background. The Watercolor trio is used with versamark to create some leaves. The button bow is an easy way to create a bow - and brings in a flower button for the butterfly - who is searching for a flower to light on.This is sketch # SSC148 from http://stamping411.blogspot.com/

Stampin'UP New Color Renovation
Hey Stampers - as promised here are the new SU color collections that are being introduced with the new large catalog this summer. I love the new Daffodil Yellow and Cherry Cobbler colors! One of my favorite retired In Color that is brought back in this new collection is Riding Hood Red. I loved this color and hoarded the card stock, the ink pad and ink refill from last years In Color collection and I have been using it all along.
And sadly some colors are being retired to make room for the new! I love some of these colors and have made sure that I have the ink pads and ink refills for those colors as well. I just ordered Brilliant Blue card stock and ink pad so now I will get the ink refill and be all set for quite a while. If you have any questions just give me or Barbara a call - Priscilla

Priscilla's 411 Sketch #146
This weeks Stamping 411 sketch (#146) looked like an easy one to do and a lot of fun. Well it was not so easy but it was fun. I have been working on this card for 2 days now and still can't seem to get it right but here it is any way. I used some of my new stuff - the new embossing folder from the summer mini catalog and my new destressing tool on the edges of the gold piece and the white focal piece of card stock. Then I had to try out my new gold Glow Smooch Spritz that is in the new summer mini catalog. This gold spray gives a lovely soft gold glitter to the white focal point. A little sponging on the edges and some paper pierching and voila - it is done. Card stock used: Brushed Gold, Rose Red and Black. I watercolored the flowers and dragon fly using my blender pens and Bodering Blue, Pretty in Pink, and Rose Red Classic ink pads.
This is the 411 sketch that can be seen at http://stamping411.blogspot.com/
