Christmas Stamp a Stack

Here I am at Barbara's lovely home setting up for my two Santa cards.  For some reason we did not take any pictures of the event but trust me everyone seemed to have a lot of fun making their 12 Christmas cards.

This is one of the Santa cards that we made.  There is lots and lots of glitter on this Santa and he really sparkles. Santa's cheeks are colored with blushing bride and his face with blush blossosm.   Then he was cut out and his beard, hat, pompom and mustache are covered with Sparkling diamond glitter.

The diamond jewel in the center of the ornament just sparkles hanging from the Christmas tree made with the Tree stamp from the "Lovely as a Tree" stamp set.  The colors are Cherry cobbler and Always Artichoke.  I wish I could have taken a picture that made the diamond have just a little more sparkle.  (Notice that I am in to sparkle for  Christmas.)  The card stock is Natural White which is just perfect for this card.

This is an attempt at a clean and simple card.  It is made from one sheet and allowed many variations.  Holly was stamped at the top, berries added.  Then Playful Pieces hostess set was used for the ornaments.  The border is freehand.   It was fun to see the creativity of stampers - with holly sprigs in the corners and different color ornaments.

Then we tried a little whimsey with the perky penguin.  He is made from the owl punch (with ears trimmed off).  Extra eyeball punches created the thought process leading up to his greeting.   He needed a snowy perch - so torn paper and chunky glitter made a nice winter look.  If you look closely you can see the versamark snowflakes in the background.

We had a great time and ended up with 12 beautiful cards.  If we did that once a week - we would be all set for the holidays really early!
